Fun in the sun with Babyganics®

The weather is finally getting warmer and warmer here in NJ! Warmer weather means more time we get to spend outdoors, enjoying the sun. Noah is such a huge fan of being outside. He wakes up most mornings and says, “outside…outside?” as he tugs my hand towards the door.

It’s important to us that we keep his skin in mind and use a good, quality sunscreen made without harmful ingredients. Babyganics® kids sunscreen helps keep his skin protected against UVA and UVB rays.

Here’s a quick breakdown on what those types of rays are and what they do:

  • UVA rays cause skin aging and skin cancer, such as melanoma.
  • UVB rays cause sunburns, cataracts, and also contribute to skin cancer.

A broad spectrum sunscreen, like Babyganics, protects against both UVA and UVB rays. We take skincare pretty seriously and are happy to partner with Babyganics from Walmart to tell you all about their kids SPF 50+ sunscreen.

It’s formulated without phthalates, parabens, PABA, or synthetic fragrance and is designed with kids developing skin in mind. Keep in mind that it will be thicker than say, applying a lotion and that’s due in part to the zinc oxide and titanium oxide. If you like a faster application, you can grab the non- aerosol version which doesn’t include any chemical propellants.

We grabbed ours from our local Walmart and headed straight outside to enjoy the fresh air.  Also, Babyganics kids sunscreen is non-allergenic and tear-free so that’s a plus! Sunscreen is super important to ensure your little one’s skin is protected, no matter the outdoor activity.
